Hello World.

So last Saturday, we ended up drinking our selves silly and going out for a little bit of dancing. Man, that "The Cafe" in the Castro is great because of it's $2 entrance fee and awesome music. Where else can you find that low of an entrance fee to a bar/club...ESPECIALLY on a Saturday. Anyways, it was all fun and games ..but the last two times we've been there it's been more of a male pick up joint than anything else. Hmm. I think we're gonna either have to take up bar bars or look for another dance place.

Sunday, after hitting up the gym, we ended up picknicking on accident in Golden Gate Park. (I am TOO spoiled living within blocks from the begining of that park.) We were supposed to go throw a frisbee around after the gym, but we were hungry and ended up picking out some small lunch/dinners and snacks.

Apparently, on Sundays a bunch of random drummer people go out to the park and just hang out there. Groups and families were spread out all over having their own get togethers. One group even had a mini grill with them. There were dogs and children frolicking all over the place. I hadn't been to a park just to hang out like that in a while. I think the last time I was at a park for a while was when Kathy and I went to the one by her house to play dominoes, baseball, cards and I forget what else. It was really nice just sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful day. I know that sounds cheesy but I am a sucker for nice sunny days. I even told Matt the scene made me all giddy seeing so many people having a good time in one area.

When we were done eating we tried the frisbee thing. We had this jelly-disk frisbee thing. Matt was totally throwing that frisbee around like nothing. Me. Well. Me and the jelly frisbee did not get along. Plus, I didn't feel like having to look around for other people/children/dogs everytime I had to throw or catch the disk. So sadly, that ended quickly.

BUT!...On Tuesday, Matt brought home his cool official ultimate frisbee (a real one, not jelly) that he bought for his students to use. We got to throw it around for a while at this small little park a few blocks from us. He even showed me the backhand and forehand throws. I forget which is which. But, I actually had a great time throwing that disk around. Can't wait to do it again. I'm sure we will soon, since Matt's had this funny obsession with ultimate frisbee for a few weeks now. =)

Also on Sunday night.....I got to hang out with my friend Danielle. Yay. It actually was just gonna start with me wanting to get out of the house. You see...Matt's computer is in the shop. Matt likes to play this little game online called World of Warcraft (WOW). Somehow I'm too nice and allowed Matt to try and install that game on my computer. Sadly for me, it worked. So he was gonna play a long game on Sunday night and well...I just couldn't watch my computer being used for such a thing ..and for so long of a while. I think I'm still traumatized. sniff.

Anyways, so I was gonna go out to watch a movie and ended up just talking for about 3 hrs nonstop with Danielle. It was really nice to be able to just talk to someone else, especially a female. I don't get much interaction these days without a job. But I'm working on that job thing, so hopefully that wont last long.

I laughed at us because at first, we didn't just sit down to talk somewhere. We walked to the Metreon and talked there. Walked to borders, talked there. Stood in the middle of union square. Did the same thing. Finally we found a coffee shop that was still open after 8pm on a Sunday and just sat around some nice warm cups of tea and coffee.

(Hmm, I really need to work on bringing closure to my damn posts.)

The end. ;)
