RENT lovers DO NOT read.
Anyways, its 8:39 am and I am awake without having to be awake. Yeah, I'm weird. But, I was very happy to see that you had posted AND happy that you didn't seem to like rent either. I also had to giggle at your comment, "if you remember you have TV." soo true, I DO forget about tele...whats that thing called?
I agree, I TOTALLY wanted to burst out laughing when they would start singing. It's sad too, because every review I skimmed through on Imdb.com gave it really really good reviews. And they were like 3 page reviews too. "Oh his message this, the musical numbers are great, blah blah blah." Man, I don't think I watched more than 30 min of it, the rest of the movie I just skipped chapters to see if it got any better. No, it didn't. But that one scene..at the beginning, when he's on the bike and starts singing..OMG that was sooo funny. I was like..NO ONE does that. Not even in musicals. And the last thing I remember was that girl (i wasnt too sure if it WAS a girl) with the short black hair, when she started singing about performing on the street with her crazy clothes. Remember her? Too funny.
About Evita, I believe I have still yet to see that, but from what I've seen, it seems classy. I like musicals too. LOVED Chicago and Moulin Rouge. Heck, I even have the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. OOOh and my favorite. PHANTOM! Of the Opera!!
So end of Rent review. It sucked. For us. Sad. But funny to laugh at.

I have been meaning to post a few random things.
First, I get these joke-a-day emails and there was a cute writing included. It's sorta long, but I'll post it anyways.

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old.
I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant. I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them. I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple; When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good. I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So... here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause....... Tag You're it."
****Too cute huh? I enjoyed reading that too. Mmm..made me feel all warm and snuggly. I also ran into some reviews for that store Beverages and More. Here are some of those quotes mushed together:
"It seems like real boozers shop here....Big friggin' bottles of liquor with handles on 'em. That's what you'll find here... No goofy s*** like a .75 mL of anything. This is only for the hardcore drunk on..."Paradise for a drunk like me."
I felt that summed up my feelings for that place well too. (Man, one visit and I am hooked on that place. Sick.)

Kathy, you know that magic card game that Matt played at Patti's sometimes? Well, yesterday he came home with a two player starter pack thing. And *GASP* I enjoyed playing with him.
I even *DOUBLE GASP* played a game online last night. Sssh. Don't tell anybody. ;)
So that's all folks, for now.
See ya later alligators!!
